K-Pop star, Chuu has been officially fired from the girl group LOONA.

The group’s agency, Blockberry Creative, have released a statement expressing that Chuu has been expelled due to ‘power-trip tendencies’ and ‘verbal abuse’ to staff. The company claims that no statements have been made by them or any other LOONA members so as to not disturb the group’s growth or disappoint the fans, even though there has been a lot of rumours surrounding Chuu in the past year. 

The summarised statement follows.

“We are releasing this statement to tell the fans that we have decided that Chuu will be removed from LOONA on November 25, 2022.

Recently we were told of Chuu’s verbal abuse and power-trip tendencies towards our staff. After an investigation, we discovered the truth… We have decided to take responsibility for this and remove Chuu from LOONA.

We would like to officially apologize to the staff members who have been greatly hurt by this.“

Large numbers of Chuu’s fans are upset over the company’s decision to remove her, with some expressing their annoyance in the comments of allkpop’s article. Quite a few fans believe that this is unfair and Chuu should not have been expelled from the group.
